Day 1: Amritsar to Rishikesh (Approx. 450 km / 9–10 hrs)

Your journey begins with a scenic drive from Amritsar to Rishikesh, passing through beautiful towns and lush plains of Punjab and Uttarakhand. Upon arrival in Rishikesh, check into your hotel and relax after a long journey. In the evening, visit Parmarth Niketan Ashram or attend the serene Ganga Aarti at Triveni Ghat. Overnight stay in Rishikesh.

Day 2: Rishikesh to Joshimath (Approx. 255 km / 8–9 hrs)

After an early breakfast, proceed towards Joshimath, the winter seat of Lord Badrinath. The drive offers breathtaking views of the Alaknanda River, mountain valleys, and hanging bridges. En route, visit Devprayag, the confluence of the Bhagirathi and Alaknanda rivers forming the sacred Ganga. Continue your journey through Srinagar, Rudraprayag, and Karnaprayag before reaching Joshimath. Check into your hotel and rest.

Day 3: Joshimath to Govindghat – Trek to Ghangaria (Approx. 22 km drive + 13 km trek)

After breakfast, drive from Joshimath to Govindghat, the base point for the Hemkunt Sahib trek. From here, begin your 13 km trek to Ghangaria, which can be done on foot, by pony, or via helicopter (depending on weather and availability). The taxi or tempo traveller will remain parked at Govindghat for your return journey. On arrival at Ghangaria, check into a guesthouse and rest for the night.

Day 4: Ghangaria to Hemkunt Sahib and Return to Ghangaria (Approx. 6 km trek one way)

Early in the morning, start your ascent to Hemkunt Sahib, situated at an altitude of 4,632 meters. The climb is steep but spiritually rewarding. Visit the Hemkunt Sahib Gurudwara, dedicated to Guru Gobind Singh Ji, and take blessings in the serene surroundings. Spend some peaceful time by the crystal-clear Hemkunt Lake before trekking back to Ghangaria by evening. Dinner and overnight stay at Ghangaria.

Day 5: Ghangaria to Govindghat – Drive to Badrinath (Approx. 13 km trek + 25 km drive)

After breakfast, trek down to Govindghat, where your taxi or tempo traveller will be waiting. From there, continue to Badrinath, one of the Char Dham pilgrimage sites. Visit the Badrinath Temple, Tapt Kund, and Mana Village (the last Indian village near the China border). Overnight stay in Badrinath.

Day 6: Badrinath to Rishikesh (Approx. 295 km / 9 hrs)

After morning darshan at Badrinath, begin your return journey to Rishikesh. Enjoy the scenic mountain drive and visit Rudraprayag or Karnaprayag on the way. Arrive in Rishikesh by evening and check into your hotel for a comfortable overnight stay.

Day 7: Rishikesh to Amritsar (Approx. 450 km / 9–10 hrs)

After breakfast, depart for Amritsar. The journey offers a relaxing ride back through the plains of Uttarakhand and Punjab. On reaching Amritsar, you will be dropped at your chosen location. If time permits, you may visit the Golden Temple or Wagah Border before concluding your journey.
